We were tasked in creating a personal, professional brand for Dr. Amy K. Patel: trailblazing breast radiologist who is bridging the healthcare gap for rural women. Through Dr. Amy’s commitment to advocating for patients and promoting diversity in the radiology profession, yoodle knew we had to get on board with her aim: to transform the face of value-based care.
Dr. Amy K. Patel came to us with a good idea of what she wanted in mind. Something that captured her fun, bright personality but was still professional and clean. A slightly rounded serif logotype was selected for it’s legibility and warmth. The icon that we paired with the logomark is an abstract breast with a radial energy that represents the motion in which breast exams are done. With women as Dr. Amy’s primary client, she liked the idea of an uber-feminine color palette that was still graphic and bold enough to be strong and confident — matching the messaging and tone of her brand: Take CHARGE of your breast health.
yoodle art directed and shot a full-day photoshoot for Dr. Amy so that she could have content for her social media page and new website. We visited multiple locations throughout the KC area including the Cancer Survivor’s Park & the hospital that Dr. Amy was practicing at where she displayed her white coat and professionalism; Union Station and City Hall to hint to Dr. Amy’s work in writing legislature, and some other outdoor / market areas for lifestyle type photos and casual outfits. All of these photos work together on the various platforms to tell the story of who Dr. Amy K. Patel is and all of the amazing work she is doing.
