Opening up a new restaurant in the midst of the pandemic called for a low-budget, quick-turn around team to get the job done. Cliff’s Taphouse is a breath of new life (into the once, Ollie’s on Main) and offers seasonally inspired & colorful food with a focus on quality locally-sourced ingredients. A placed that is locally adored, embraces the nearby art scene, and loves beer: 12 alternating Local Kansas City Craft Breweries on Tap!

The primary logo for Cliff’s Taphouse brand was inspired by the hand-written signatures from old photos provided to us of our client’s family. Grandpa Cliff was a Chicago police officer circa 1960s, and was a frequent at the neighborhood hang. A small, quaint bar serving local food and drinks. A place that brought the community together. The velvety color palette feels modern vintage, and the yellow archway logo and pattern was inspired by the architectural details in the facade of the building. It also represents the idea that this local spot radiates out to the community and welcomes all enter their doors with fresh food & a cheers!
