Kansas Mutual Medical Insurance Company, Kansas's largest professional liability insurance provider insuring more than 50% of Kansas's physicians and hospitals, needed a new corporate web presence. The challenge was simple: build the new site with all the bells and whistles that a corporate Internet presence would need to disseminate corporate content, news, and event information, but at the same time architect it in such a way that this website can extend seamlessly to be the company's client Extranet at a later time. The site must allow member login, be integrated with the company's Active Directory, and to display secured content only to members.

Kauffman Foundation, the world's largest foundation devoted to entrepreneurship, wanted to completely overhaul their corporate web presence. The challenge was that content had to be authored once and classified in such a way that it could be used in multiple places on the site based on a taxonomy structure.

Challenge

The Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth were founded in 1858 by Mother Xavier Ross in Leavenworth, Kansas. They minister in the continental United States, Peru and South Sudan. The Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth needed an upgrade to their site which lacked a content management system. They were unable to manage their website on their own and reach their target audience as needed. The main challenges were giving visitors the ability to register for events, to be able to contact the Sisters through the website easily and quickly, and creating content specifically for Sisters and Associates accessible only in a secure section of the site.
 

Solution

  • Selection of Kentico Version 6 as the development platform

  • Migration of content from old website to new

  • Creating accounts for all Sisters and Associates to use to access secure content.

Challenge

The Visual Arts Center of New Jersey is the state’s largest institution dedicated exclusively to viewing, making and learning about contemporary art. The art center accepts registrations and payments for the above classes and workshops, as well as membership signups and renewals on the center’s website. The art center processes close to 50 transactions a day. It was becoming an uphill task to download transactions from the web store and import them into QuickBooks every day. It was manual, prone to error, mundane and unnecessary. They needed a better way.
 

Solution

  • Yoodle created an XML based .NET application that worked as the bridge between QuickBooks and the art center’s Kentico based storefront.

  • Solution featured a simple, one-time configuration for online orders to be downloaded to QuickBooks.

 

Results

  • With the Yoodle solution, it is now simpler than ever for the accounting team to post online orders to QuickBooks with the push of a button.

The University of Saint Mary (USM) is a four-year Catholic liberal arts university founded by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth in 1923. With USM’s focus on health programs, the website needed an entire new design that complemented their healthcare niche and branding. The website needed to be developed on a robust content management system with a built-in approval workflow engine that allowed distributed authoring. USM needed a reliable hosting provider who could guarantee at least 99.9% uptime as well as a good service level agreement apart from disciplined backup procedure.

  • The ease with which Kentico CMS allows uploading and resizing of images has resulted in the site being very colorful and appealing to the website visitor.
